Lublin Marathon

Lublin Marathon

The Maraton Lubelski is a marathon road race that has been held every year since 2013 in Lublin, a city of about 340,000 people in eastern Poland.

The route has changed several times.

In 2018, the 42.195km-long course began and ended at the newly-renovated Stadion Lekkoatletyczny (athletics stadium) on Aleja Józefa Piłsudskiego, approximately two kilometres south of Lublin's historic centre (pictured).

The route took the runners to the southern part of the city where they circled the Jezioro Zemborzyckie reservoir.

The course was undulating, with about 265 metres of ascent.
